Was surprised to get a Canada Post delivery of the P226 Navy edition replacement. Just wanted to share with you the happy moment.

Apparently its the exact same pistol configuration as issued to the Seals...available for commercial purchase.

Thanks to Derek and Questar for bringing this in for me. It was quite a wait I'm happy its here.

Its the designation given by the US Navy for their P226 pistols I believe.

nothing really, its pretty much a standard p226r...

with:
-sig lite night sights
-milspec 1913 rail
-phosphate internal components and controls (anti-corrosion)
-navy markings and UID code
-being able to say you have a mk25...

Similar to the 226 Navy at Cabelas for $899? Says there is a longer barrel. Wow, reg p226 is $879 at cabelas canada. Prices are dropping.

its the replacement of the 226 Navy edition as the 226 Navy is currently discontinued. i don't think the barrel is any different.

basically a navy 226 with a UID code and certificate...

Why there is a HUGE difference in price between Cabelas and the rest of the guys here (Questar, SFRC, and etc)?? It's only $899 on Cabelas! Are they not the same gun??
