What I'm curious about is what kind of groupings your rifles tend to shoot
I dont know were there is one, but this caliber is awsome mine is a shooter topped by a LR Sightron hitting at 800 yards is not that hard, here a picture of a coffee can with 10 shots tru it shot across our lake up north at 810 yards, the can is 6 X8 inch... JP.[/IMG]![]()
Caramel that is good shooting at 800 yds you shot about 1 moa what rifle and chambering was this.
Out of the box, under 2" is good. Then clean up the barrel channel, bed the action. That shouldm get you in the 1.00 to 1.5" range.
Then develop a good handload for it. That should get you around 1".
Some rifles have good barrels and even bolt contact, etc. and will do better.
Don't confuse the bragging on here to the average rifle in the real world.
And who reset the can each shot??
Im really liking the Icon Precision Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoore, i think it would be a MOA gun easily. Anyone know who has one in stock? I hate waiting for special orders.
