... and it's not even for me. I introduced a friend to shooting last weekend and he gave me a budget of $700ish to get him set up with a .22 of his own. His only constraints were .22, tacticool and didn't want something off the shelf (so SR-22 was out
). So, first thing I did was a bit of research and then went to SFRC's site.
Here's the plan
Ruger 10/22 carbine
NEA 9" threaded bull barrel
Tapco intrafuse stock (for bull barrel)
two butler creek steel lips 25 round mags
tasco red dot (he liked mine on my .22)
Still need to add a fore grip, and maybe a cheap flashlight for the tacticool look. Also, is there anywhere to get a fake suppressor just for giggles.
