New Cooper rifle arrived.... scope suggestions?

It may not sound ###y, but for the OP's intentions as outlined, a Leupold 4x33 FXII would be perfect.

The only other "perfect" choice would be a 6x42 FXIII, preferrably with the Heavy Duplex.

I have the exact rifle and I used a FX-II 6x36 compact with the LR reticle. Sweet looking rig!
