What is your go to .223 powder?????

23.5 gr H335 and a 60 gr Amax bullet. Excellent in every savage we have tried it in.

I am surprised nobody mentionned BL-C(2). I am a huge fan from my part, it is so versatile. I took apart LC 5.56mm. Nato rounds and it was impossible to visually say which one was BL-C(2) and wich was military powder.

Okay I am getting a lot of pet loads but I want to know what your pet loads are looking like over the chronograph. I want to know about SD and ES differences.

I use VHT N140 and N150 and RL15 with 69.75 and 60 gr. SD under 10.

Hands down WC735. If that runs out, I will go back to W748. Ball powder measures as smooth as poop through a goose for that mass production reloading.

I have been using this in my AR15 - may be a bit dirtier than ramshot tac and H335 but way cheaper and just as accurate plus meters great in the 550b

IMR 4064 works great is a Savage Model 12 LRPV 223. 69grain Nosler Custom Competition bullets.

x2 for IMR4064. Great versatile powder.

RL-15 seems to be the ticket with 50 or 55 grain Hornady bullets here.
