$240 Mossberg 590 at WSS!

Actually I'm wrong, it says 590 on it, but looks identical to the 500 cruiser except for the chrome/stainless steel action cover(not sure the correct term for that piece), which this one doesnt have.

Cruiser doesn't have a bayonet lug - that's the primary reason why I wanted the 590. Now just have to find a Speedfeed stock for it...
 
I made a call to verify this again. It is indeed $240 on sale regular price $310 . Also is a deal if you buy this month and spend over $100 you get $20 off. So the total price came to $220.
 
Another interesting update on the identification of this gun. I took a second look at my registration papers and on there it is marked as a Mossberg 500 Cruiser, however as previously said, it bears more resemblance to a 590, and the receiver is stamped as a 590. But this model doesn't appear to be on Mossberg's website either.

Is this some strange Canada only or WSS specific model?

Oh and one other thing, can anyone confirm if a standard stock from a Model 500 field will fit on this 590? I think I would prefer a proper stock for 80% of its usage.

I've been looking on-line trying to figure out the exact configuration of this shotgun and from what I can see it is one of the 590 Special Purpose series.

If so it would have the plastic trigger guard and safety, the barrel profile is thinner than the 590A1 (both M500 traits) BUT it has the magazine tube cap and the barrel has the magazine ring (590 trait), not the threaded bolt cap that the 500 has.

If some one could confirm this I would appreciate it. I've been looking for a 6 shot 18.5" or shorter, but at this price the 9 shot 20"er might be hard to pass up.

Thanks I made a call got the messg machine so left the info and hoping they call back ,rarely deals like that down in the atl provinces.$300. or so ,all in would be fantastic!
