SIG Mosquito or walther p22

forgot to mention GSG also makes conversion kits only. you would need the series 70 model slide for the norinco[/QUO

any ideas on where to find this gsg conversion kit? but im now more interested in the mk II/III. and avoid having to change slides. unless i can find a used 1911 gsg .22

Trust me man, I know from experience. If you dont have the cash for the gun you want right now, save longer. You will regret settling and end up buying the one you really wanted down the line anyway.

I have a P22 with more than 10,000 rds through it. It shoots everything I feed it. I use it often to introduce new shooters to pistols and it has been used at two range introduction days where it has fired more than a 1000 rds in one day without a FTF and without cleaning.

They need the series II mags to be reliable, which can be identified by the extra ports in the mag body (2 vs 4).

I would buy another one again without concern. I also own a GSG which, IRC was designed by the engineer.

I had a mosquito for a while and I can honestly say it was the WORST piece of crap I ever owned, at least three failures with every mag, changed the spring, polished the feed ramp, tried every kind of ammo I could find, all to no avail. Sold it and got a conversion for my 226 and not a single issue with that, whatever you do , PLEASE, don't get bit by a mosquito.....

Like you , i fancied the look of the mosquito... But got such crap feedback from others who have owned or experienced them, i went for the gsg1911
Great descision..... Love this little pistol, polished the feed ramp and absolutely no probs since, eats everything in bulk. 2000 rounds and counting!!!!!!! Great value...

/Bought a Sig Mosquito

Jams, stovepipes, etc. Finally determined that by using CCI MiniMags, the gun usually cycled (I say that in the past tense as sold the damn thing).
Bought a Ruger Mk. 111, accurate, eats any .22 ammo, and priced right.. nesen

I have a mosquito and use cci mini mag and while I don't have thousands of rounds through it I can honestly say that I haven't had any problems with it. Dunno?
