I had one of these a couple years ago in .22-250, and it's one of the few rifles I miss after selling it.

I buy and sell quite a few, and usually I don't think much about them afterwords. This rifle, however kind of "haunts" me. It was just that perfect for me, in fit and function. This model is of course, the Light Varmint Stainless Fluted model 700, with a 22" barrel and blind box magazine in a nicely designed kevlar factory stock. At 6 3/4" pounds, it is a real sweetheart. Of course, it has been discontinued.

I hope to find another at some point...

Do any of you own one and if so - how do you like it? If you have one in .22-250 you may consider selling at some point, please let me know and I'll start saving for it. ;)

I'd love to see some pictures of these, set up with scopes.

I HAD one in 22-250...

Although the stock was basically very nice, I never really could get used to the flat fore end. The buddy I sold it to dropped it into a McM Classic stock, and couldn't be happier!

I had one in 7mm-08
weak moment seperated us

I had mine at the range the other day, with some handloads that I pretty much slapped together.

shot a 2/12" group at 300 yards from the bench....Then my buddy and I spent some time smacking the 335 yd gong from all positions. Nice cause there is almost no recoil. :)

That sounds like a good one you've got there! ;)

Had one in .17 rem and liked it. Shot well with reloads I didn't really put much effort into. Traded it and then enquired about buying it back possibly. The guy I traded it to had already sold it as he didn't care for it. Would like another one in .17 or .221 or .223 but want it for the right price....

I have one in .204 Ruger.....a Bushnell 4200 Side focus 6-24x40 sits on top.
I will have to work on pic's for ya. The gun shoots great....Dead Yote at 200 Meters bang flop.

I didn't realize that they made this model is .204 Ruger...now that's the one I really want! ;)

I too really liked this gun. In fact, I put my pennies together for two years to get one. WSS ordered me a 17 Remington, beautiful gun. Changed out the J Lock firing pin; However, try as I might, I couldn't get it to shoot under about 1 3/4" groups. I was forced to move it... :(
