Well my PGW action finally made it into the hands on of my gunsmith this week.

It has been a long wait but I am positive it will be worth it.

Onto this masterpiece of metal will be a Broughton 30" SS 1.25" no taper barrel (that's 1.25" from breech to muzzle) a huge thanks to Sean at North Shore Barrels.

It will be chambered in .284 Shehane.

All this will be fitted into a Henry Remple thumbhole stock with a Jewel BR trigger and topped with one of my NF BR 12-42x56 scopes.

Range report to follow probably sometime in May.

just curious how much was the price tag on that, pm if you don't want to post. by the way looks really nice

Cost to me was $0.00 :rockOn:

It was won at a match last July.

I believe their retail price is $1500 (might be repeater price)

To the poster asking about more pics:
The pic is courtesy of prairieguy who retrieved it from PGW and delivered it for me to the GS.
I have one more I can post after I edit it of the other side.

EDIT: 2nd pic posted

should have went with a gailliard for an all canadian build.

North Shore Barrels: Canadian Company, Site Sponsor, PM'd me personally, all around great guy.

Gaillard: Not a site sponsor, did not PM, phone, email, write a letter, etc....

And that's all I gots to say about that. ;)

While it would be great to have all Canadian made parts ( I may do so in the future ) Sean had asked me to give his Broughton barrels a go and I told him it would be my pleasure.

NICE CHOICE!

You also have some good people behind your goods. Sean & the PGW team are good stand up people!

Good luck and keep us posted!

Sounds like a nice rig. You couldn't find any 4' long barrels?

Not without breaking the bank or the weight requirements. LOL

Having to switch to front rest for this one rather than using my Remple bipod.

A lot of the US shooters are using 32" barrels but it would not fit in my case if I went that long.
