20 burried brand new Spitfires

I just read an article yesterday in the Calgary Herald about 20 burried brand new still in grease Spitfire figthers in Myamar. There is a possibility of 50 in total.

Another one not fully restored sold for 1 million

It sounds promising, but contemporary photo's of aircraft being buried at the end of the war usually show them crushed by the bulldozers burying them.

In the crates is definately promising though

Remember that car they dug up from the time capsule in Oklahoma a couple of years ago? What a rustbox that was....here's hoping if the Spitfires actually exist they look better that that car did.
