Wholesale Sports

I can't really say anything bad about the one here in Grande Prairie. I have been there a lot, although they never have any firearms I am interested in but 2 of the guys I talk to have a lot of info for what I am asking. So far I have found it to be the best pricing in town for ammunition, but I buy my firearms at Barton's. They do have a lack of staff this is true, but then again where can you go and get the best customer service everytime? I like to share between business's with my purchases, and I do like to shop locally cause without shoppers you end up hurting the local economy.

Just my $.02

I am looking at purchasing a new Bisley Ruger .44 mag. I searched a bit online looking for the best price and found them going for $639.00 at Wholesale sports. I e-mailed them 2 weeks ago asking how much total (taxes, shipping) to the Niagara region here in Ontario. Surprisingly I got a reply back in about an hr. quoting $799.17. Al Simmons has the Super Ruger blackhawk advertised at $999.00 which sells for $629.00 at Wholesale sports and I am sure the Bisley is more at Simmons. I just feel that the prices at Wholesale sports is reasonable compared to what's out there or what people want for their used guns. Don't know where else to look for the best deal for this particular firearm NIB.

Yeah, but you have to remember that until the gun is in your hands, you won't really know if they have it. They have quoted lots of people prices on guns that turn out to be "Not in Stock - Backorder" and since Ruger isn't accepting orders for the next six months, you could be waiting an awful long time.

Thanks for the heads up, that's good to know. I did ask them via e-mail how long it would take to ship to my house and they did say 5-7 business days so I assume they are in stock, but I know, don't assume anything...lol. I actually called them Wed. to place the order but all I got was voice mail placing me in order of the call. I will try again next week and will certainly find out first if they are in stock before placing the order.

I just delt with them last week and as I said in my post a couple pages back. I ordered 11 boxes of ammo because this is what they told me they had in stock and could ship. A week later they called me back tellign me that the ammo I ordered is now out of stock.

Even if you call and its in stock it takes them so long to process the order there is a chance it could sell in the time.

The excuse I got was that it usually takes 3 or 4 days get an order ready and to ship it.

Unless you can actually walk into the store to make a purchase their customer service is horrible so there are far better choices out there.

Their new website.....................WWW-The-pictures-are-nice-but-its-out-of-stock.com

Shopping at Wholefail is like last call at a small town bar and you are looking across the room at the drunk town bike you know.

Your choices are limited, you really hate the thought, but sometimes you swallow your morals, and go over to see if you can score.

The funny thing is with Wholefail's consistent lack of stock is often the whore can't perform.
