well BigBeaver, u just cost me a TI25 Aluminium mag!
You won't regret it, besides if you're not 100% satisfied I'll give you a 50% refund for it, just let me know.
Seriously though please limit yourself to just one, because I don't want them to sell out, thanks.
Did anyone in this thread ever link this?

Has anyone actually tried ordering the bx-25's from Brownells? On the site they only advertise it is for the 10/22 and in the Q/A tab for the mags it says they will ship to canada...
Q: can this mag be shipped to canada and would it be pinned to 10 rounds
Asked on 4/4/2012 by Anonymous from canada
A: Sorry, but will have to call in to our International orders desk to check. It will not be pinned - can ship as is, or it is restricted.
I am about to put an order through brownells and wondering if they will be allowed in or not based on the fact that they are not advertising they are for rifle AND pistol.
Although, I guess based on the Ref above, even if you were able to order them, they would still be prohibited, just based on the fact they are made to fit both rifle and pistol?
haha, i really concidered buying 2.. but went back on my decision and told myself.. Geez Doc, you dont even have your PAL yet, neither a Ruger.. just freaking wait (and buy a 3x Butlers Creek Mag to compare with the TI25-Alum)
Oooo...I'd be really careful pursuing this. You could land yourself in a world of legal hassle. Odds are everything might go smoothly, though I've heard that Brownells packages get fully inspected, but if a US business sends you something that conflicts with canadian firearms regs. and it gets flagged/intercepted - you're Fvcked!
Happened to a friend of mine, the US company had no problem shipping a questionable gun part (I won't elaborate), but the cops did. He was busted, they raided his house, took his guns, he did six months, no joke.
The BX25 is a prohited device as it is, while I agree that it's ridiculous. You really don't want to go through a potential legal nightmare, just to get a mag that feeds better, not worth it.
Cancel the order now, follow the law. Seriously.
Yea I figured this was the case, not going to be ordering the mags. I thought that it was only a question of finding a place to ship them, I didnt realize (until I read the RCMP Ref) that the mags were actually prohibited. Ohwell BC steels it is.
I wonder what happens to magazines already in canada, in our possession, if BC starts advertising their magazines as fitting the charger.
Amazingly, I got a message back. quickly too:
Thanks for the information Rob, we certainly understand your frustration. We'd also like to capitalize on sales of the BX-25 Magazine, though I won't pretend to understand how we will approach the issue. I will share your input with the proper department. Hopefully you will be able to purchse one in Canada someday. Thanks for you interest in our products!
Now, who knows if anything is going to be done or if there is even a way around it now, but at least I can say I did something.
If anything, Ruger is just too busy to bother
