Little bit of a rant.......
5 years ago I took the Blackbadge course and paid my dues fore a couple years and enjoyed it, also enjoyed that some one deemed me "holster qualified" so I could use my holster while at the range. Unfortunately due to a severe injury(broken back) I let my IPSC membership expire while I recovered. Now that I am starting to shoot again (well was until I broke my leg last week) I can not use my Holster as I am deemed now as "not qualified".
My big problem with this is, I will never compete in IPSC again because of my injures but want to still be able to use a holster while at the range and practice.
What bugs me more then having to pay the Blackbadge course fee's again is the fact that I have been on the Ontario waiting list for a course since November of 2011 ( I even think i added I was willing to travel all across the entire province to attend a course)
Does anybody know if IDPA offers a holster training course that will allow me to holster while at the range? Is IDPA more up to my speed as far as matches go?
Sorry about the rant, just frustrated with trying to get holster qualified once again.
