Where are DA/Grizzly shotguns made?

Exact same factory as the norinco ones apparently. They're 870 clones, and damn good ones at that. I have a 12.5 grizz and I'd put it against any 870, any day. They're built like tanks. Hundreds and hundreds of every kind of rounds down the pipe and not one single hiccup of any kind. IMO, I'd take one over an express any day.
I had trouble with my mag fed griz in two areas:
1) if the slide was not racked with serious authority, the bolt would not fully lock into place and have to be re-racked. (think trying to close the slide gently, as quietly as possible)
2) low brass shells had serious ejection problems.
X2! I have two, and they run like a 12ga swiss clock.
However, you can't get a maverick (new) with a 12.5" barrel for $299. Trust me, they are worth every penny. Once in your hands, you'll understand.
Hmmmm. It does look nice for trail protection and such.. But I still think the price is a bit high for a shotgun with such a narrow niche. None the less I'm haven't said no to the Grizzly yet. I'm on the fence so to speak.

That said, I picked up a slightly beat up Wingmaster for $225 at a gun show the other day, and slapped on a 12.5" DA barrel...best of all worlds for a HD pump gun, IMO
*edit* especially when you figure in the fact that it cost me $700 for my brand new Wingmaster last year, lol.
A buddy of mine had feeding issues with his mag Fed as well with certain ammo. My experience however has been with the regular tube fed version and it's never had a single issue. I like the idea of the mag fed, but for me personally, they felt too cumbersome for what I use it for and I need to be able to trust it's function completely. The tube fed has more than proved itself so far. It's too bad, because the mag fed ones look sick! I still may pick one up in the future just for fun lol.
Take off the heat sheild it made a big difference on mine!
Thnx for the input, and sorry if i hijacked the thread. I'm going to get a Maverick 88 first, just did the pros and cons and the Maverick 88 is what i really need right now. BUT i will be buying a Grizzly secondly for sure, for back packing and such, The look of the grizzly is awesome and from what i've seen on youtube it's quite the performer. Lol no thanks. I doubt I'll ever be getting rid of this one. I just got it all dolled up the way I want it too haha.
The only thing I can think of being an issue for someone is the finish, it does scratch pretty easily. But I honestly couldn't care less. It's a bush/camp/fun gun for me and it gives it character lol. I have "nice" guns that stay "nice", this one is my work horse so it's gonna get scratched anyway haha.
