Pistol Clubs iin GTA'ish area?

How exactly is the sport ever to grow if shooting clubs don't allow anyone to join?

Ironically, Some clubs appear to doing more to opress handgun ownership than the anti's with membership caps and waiting lists etc. The sad thing is that a lot of these clubs really aren't that busy.

No kidding. The Elmira club won't allow any outsiders to join.

But go there on a Saturday afternoon, and the range is literally empty.
Not one single person is shooting.

You'll probably see a couple of guys in plaid jackets.
But they'll just be standing around and talking about the big moose they shot in 1982.

Plaid jackets... now thats funny. Sounds like and O'l boys club and they don't want any newbies interfering ?
 
Burlington Rifle & Revolver Club - Fees

For full members taking the safety course the amount due includes the balance of the current calendar year pro-rated as follows: $311 for January-March, $253 for April-June, $206 for July-September.

For full members taking the safety course October-December the amount due is $311 which includes membership for the balance of the current calendar year and all of the following calendar year.

Full member annual dues are $187 per calendar year.

The marksmen club. 5 min east of the shwa. $350 a yr Plus training fees if youve never had an ATT. I had one previously so dont know the cost. I think its around $100
