The postman rang the doorbell today with a nice surprise. Just in time too as i just got back into town on sunday. Anyways i dont know how many are in Canada yet but since i didnt know when my local allocation would come up, i went and purchased one off gun broker and had it imported over.

Now to clean it up, throw on the AFG2, MBUS, and Carlson Comps Enforcer then hopefully ill be able to hit the range sometime soon. ill throw the Eotech on once it arrives but i think its still a few weeks away.

anyways here are a couple iphone pics.

oh lol, thats my dog's leg. he tore out his dew claw and i was posting pics on a dog forum to get some other people's opinion on it. ended up going to the vet and it was fine and it healed on his own.

Which dealer did you buy it from?

Epps just told me mid-June!
i hope its not mid june i have one 1/3 payed for at epps iam # 1 on the list and vault just advised me they would be in country later this week so iam think end of this month mine should be in my dirty little hands

As you can see - the forearm plastic picatinny rails are breaking from pistol grips used to pump the gun.The next pic is why.

The solution - make sure attached grip has clearance to prevent excessive torque on the plastic picatinny block. Out of spec grips can be filed.

On mine the magpul MOE will be mounted as no reports of breakage are evident as yet.

ouch brand new tupperware shotgun. too bad that doesnt seem milspec to me. nice gun though we keep the costs low by using recycled garbage bags for our polymer.

This is why I boycott plastic in firearms these days wherever possible. If we keep buying plastic, they'll keep finding ways to make them cheaper by integrating even more plastic into them. Hopefully some company out there will make some metal forends at some point.

I agree with you entirely! Theres nothing about this shotgun that would be deemed "Mil-Spec". And to the OP Im not trolling at all, far from it, its a very nice shotgun and I hope it gives you many, many years of safe shooting fun! Heck I may even join the KSG family too when the VISA stops crying...:dancingbanana::rockOn:

Im merely trying to wrap my head around why Keltec would choose polymer (other then cost cutting) for such a high stressed area f:P:; this entire forend shouldve been made of anodized aluminum, I wouldve paid the extra coin from a design standpoint to have this done thats for sure, and for Keltecs first shotgun it wouldve been a VERY wise choice...

But since these guns are gaining tremendous popularity Im more then certain they'll listen and either implement it in the secondary versions, or some aftermarket companies will chime in... either or... or I could be waay off and they just keep it as is and dont give a whoot :D

ENJOY your KSG OP!!! AND RANGE REPORT ASAP!!!!!! :D :shotgun:
