...nice, do it yourself?
Yes , it's Alumahyde II in coyote brown. I put 4 coats and it's held up awesome. I've run hundreds of rounds through it and taken it through all kinds of terrain and it still hasnt scratched or chipped.. There aren't even any wear mark on the mag tube from the pump , totally worth the 20$
You just have to prep the steel like crazy
sandblast?
A buddy of mine had feeding issues with his mag Fed as well with certain ammo. My experience however has been with the regular tube fed version and it's never had a single issue. I like the idea of the mag fed, but for me personally, they felt too cumbersome for what I use it for and I need to be able to trust it's function completely. The tube fed has more than proved itself so far. It's too bad, because the mag fed ones look sick! I still may pick one up in the future just for fun lol.
Take off the heat sheild it made a big difference on mine!
Thnx for the input, and sorry if i hijacked the thread. I'm going to get a Maverick 88 first, just did the pros and cons and the Maverick 88 is what i really need right now. BUT i will be buying a Grizzly secondly for sure, for back packing and such, The look of the grizzly is awesome and from what i've seen on youtube it's quite the performer. Happy Grizz'n to all you lucky owners!
