^^ But then you still have a silly looking screw-on tube. Full-length mag tubes only for full tactical status.
The legal limit is 5x 3'' shells in the magazine. You pin the mag extension so that it fits 5.9x 3'' shells (the 6th shell does not fit). Now you can fit 6x 2 2/4'' shells.
Angry,
Did you unplug your factory mag and extend it one round, so you can now fit 6 in the tube?
. Then I bought a +2 extension and plugged it internally
How did you plug it? I have a full length titanium Carrier Comp coming and I'm not sure exactly what should be done plug wise.
With the Benelli factory +2 extension (not the crimped one), you can simply remove the spring retaining clip from the end of your mag tube, flip it around backward and push it all the way to the front of the +2 extension tube where it will butt up against the tapered end where the mag cap screws on. JB weld or the like can be used to permanently install it. With this method the magazine capacity is 5 rounds of 3" and 6 rounds of 2 3/4". Totally invisible to the outside.
Here's my Benelli as she sits right now. If I ghost load a round on the carrier dog and throw one in the chamber, it will hold 8 rounds of 2 3/4". Add to that the velcro on 7 shot side saddle and that makes 15 rounds on board, before I have to start reloading from a pouch.
I desperately need a GG&G bolt release and a Carrier Comp bolt handle! Those two upgrades are a MUST before I go messing around with the full length mag tube.
After that, I will add a Noveske rear QD sling plate, some sort of front QD plate (if I can find one) and tritium for the LPA.

Wolverine Supplies for the GG&G stuff.
Looks like a Blue Force Gear VTAC Sling.
Full Tube is cool, but the 2 shot extensions are cheaper and just as functional.
Sosa
couple of questions, what sling is on the M4 in the OP's pic?
also, is carrier comp titanium full length tube about the best option for this? (plugged for 5 rounds obviously)
Where did you get the carrier comp tube? Not sure.
I am using a Tactical Link Interceptor 2-Point Sling in OD Green on my BM4. It’s super functional and very clean looking.
Yes, if you want a titanium mag tube which weighs HALF that of the factory tube. Not to mention the parkerized finish is the best match to the factory colour you will find. And it’s the best quality mag tube available.
I’ll post pics of my BM4 with Carrier Comp full-length titanium mag tube (plugged for 6 2¾" rounds) when it’s ready.
