Savage 93 in .17HMR. Scope is Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x50. Still waiting on my Burris Signature Zee rings and Boyd's Varmint thumbhole stock and bottom metal to finish it up. This one's on the never sell list.

Here it is the the Boyd's. Still waiting on my bottom metal and rings. This stock is awesome. Took every bit of the cheapness feeling out of the gun. Had to do a bit of sanding, but it's perfectly snug now and I'll never need to bed it.

I learned something today, the barrel block is plastic...which doesn't exactly fair well in a 400 degree oven...so i now have a free float barrel!

Took a few pieces into work today and powder coated them

Now just waiting to do the mags and thread cover on the barrel

YIKES!!! thats, er, pretty dang red! I dunno, not for everyone..... I'd prolly have gone with a Tan look, or a dark grey, but thats just me.

Added the PWS T3 magazine release lever, rounded the bolt hold open modification a bit more, added thread locker to main body screws and painted my second Butler Creek magazine with Krylon ultra flat olive:

here's my SS 10/22, stock .920 hammer forged barrel, home trigger job. Free floated and bedded. It shoots really well with Winchester DynaPoint GT!
