The word "purse" and handle "torontogungal" gave it away for me.
And how many members here hunt those remote and exspensive to get to locations?![]()
About the same as the number of members that need an 18" .338...![]()
Fair enough.
Now which one is better... 338 Win or 375 Ruger?

Boomer:
Nothing falling off of my 2 Savage rifles and I've put 100's of rounds down the spout and several deer in the fridge and a few miles through rough bush with them slung over my shoulder in all kinds of weather.
I don't baby my guns.
They're automatically working guns if they're in my gun safe.
If they don't stand up they'll find themselves on a used rack pronto.
And I'll take the bug sized Savage groups vs 2" Ruger groups even if I'm forced to keep $300 in my purse to get that kind of accuracy.
You won't need to twist my arm to make that decision ether.![]()

I'd bet no one takes Savages to hunt cape buffalo...
again!
The word "purse" and handle "torontogungal" gave it away for me.
So what is the correct terminology for the Savage owners who feel the need to hate on high-end rifle owners?
Is it an inferiority complex or superiority complex?
Lucky for me I don't own either Savage or Cooper rifles.
I am perfectly happy driving a ten year old Honda Civic {keeps more cash in the pockets to waste on guns!}
it gets me anywhere I need to go reliably, but does it compare to the beautiful S2000 that just blew by me on the freeway...hell no!.
