MONSTER 600 LB Black Bear

No, it wasn't me.


A guy that I know, shot a GIANT 600 lb spring black bear. He shot it over a bait. I guess he's been after this bear for a long time and finally got him.

After he shot the bear (bow & arrow kill btw), he brought it out of the bush and had it weighed, live weight, so that's a verified weight. Imagine what that Sum-##### woulda weighed in the fall!?

The bear is 7'6" nose-to-tail, and the skull green score is 21", which if it holds up is a record book bear. It is a MONSTER...

Congratulations! I killed black bear in the +/- 350lbs range May 10th and thought it was a big one, apparently not so....

Great bear! Unfortunately,if it's right at 21" green, pretty good chance it won't make B&C, unless it "dries" in the freezer (hint )

American Pose has the animal way out in front of the hunter/fisherman so the depth of field makes the animal/fish look huge because the person looks small (because they are in the background)
