I wouldn't worry about too many add ons until you get out and shoot it a whole bunch and see if you need (or want) anything else. ie holster, extra mags, different sights etc.
Since the M&P .22 has a barrel length of 104mm, it's prohibited in Canada. Unless someone is putting a longer barrel on them?
No it isnt. Questar sold 4-5 of them already and more are coming. S&W measures different then the rcmp

If you're not buying it by the case(s), you're Doing It Wrong(tm).For a rimfire pistol? Find out which ammo makes your gun rock and then buy a sh#tload of that brand. At least a few hundred. 500-1000 is better. You will save time and gas going to the store that sells it.
Then just go shooting.
