Even if it's $2,500+ on the EE...![]()
we're not supposed to complain about it here, rather in the OT - according to the ad.
I notice the guy asking a "reasonable" $1300 has sold his already..

I was just about to make a post how I am #79 on waiting list for KSG and how that was a bad thing...........but NOW I think it is better NOT to be first....I am still going to get one.
I'm not sure how to post photos, but I'll try to figure it out. I really think that the best solution would be to dremmel out a small area under the hand guard so that no contact can be made. I'm worried that repeated poundind may eventually brake the forarm release trigger. Not sure why Kell Tek didn't see this as a potential problem area.
I use tinypic dot com to host images... Upload photo, copy IMG code and paste into the body of your post.
I am surprised that there is impact to the trigger guard... I'd check to see if everything was in alignment, and if it is, I would have no issue removing a bit of polymer from the forend to ensure it doesn't happen again. I milled off a bunch from the forend on my 780 so it would clear the side saddle I installed.
In terms of a polymer rail... I think it's fine for accessories (lights, lasers etc.) but nothing as potentially aggressive as some of those oversized vertical grips. The polymer hat Kel-Tec used seems to be "harder" than that on a Glock or a Tavor. So it may not have to same amount of "indestructible flexibility" found in these other firearms. Nonetheless it machines well when I "deburred" some of the mold lines on he rfb.
On another note the only thing I plan on putting on the bottom rail is a rubber cover... And maybe A hand-stop to keep from experiencing RFDS...aka Rapid Finger Disintegration Syndrome.
I find it funny how the majority of those that are whining the longest and loudest about the quality of this gun have never even held one in thier own two hands. Armchair quarterbacks, the lot of 'em.
that a piece of the picatinny rail under the handguard had broken off.
Common problem with most KelTec products, great concept but poor/cheap execution.
You are far from alone.

The people at Keltec are not stupid..
They know that if they come up with a shotgun that can hold 15 rounds "off the shelf".. Capacity starved Canadians will line up to pre order...
It won't matter that it doesn't really work or that it falls apart...
No offense, but... It's a POS.
When was the last time you read a thread titled..
CRAP !! My new 870 just broke..?
X2
Well here it is, not well I heard it from a friend of a friend. But first hand experience with a turd.
My first shotgun was an 870 supermag. 50rds and the locking lugs started to peen on back.(yes the end cap was on tight) Nice heat treat there remmy. Had all the issues with FTE (rough chamber) no matter what loads went through it.
Take a look at the pics of my first and last 870.
