80% lower?

this dlaskarms.com//product_info.php?products_id=82&osCsid=12ac8e0ea46da8459509bfc8ed6d623b ?

so what state are the forgings at? still require full machining? I asked this same question a while ago the only places i found were in the US.

when did they decide that? That must be why dlask no longer has them on the site. Did they make them a prohibited device? they arnt a firearm so Im not sure how they would have made them illegal

Hmm...Dlask sold 80% AR15 lowers up untill at least a month ago. I know cause I was looking at them. However, I cannot find them on their site anymore....

Now, they haven't sold 1911 80% frames in years. I called Dlask and asked if they would be selling them in the future and the lady said "No, they won't let us sell the 80% anymore, only the 60%"

Her words, not mine. And I never asked who "they" refered to. Yet at the time they were still selling 80% AR15 lowers, so why a 1911 80% would be a "no no" and an AR 80% would be "ok" is beyond me.

I'm going from memory but I do recall the CFO's making it difficult to sell 80% lowers. Basically threatening to shut down guys who were doing it.

I am aware the CFO's don't make law. That hasn't stopped them in the past.
