Greetings,
I'm having a pain of a time trying to get a part for a combo .22/.410 (It's going to be used to hunt with). I have only found it on the site mentioned below. Western Gun Parts cannot get it, they supplied some other minor parts for it, and a few other stores did not even respond to my request.
site: http://www.gun-parts.com/savageshotgun/
Models: Models 24- 24C- 24D
Part: #5-1 Release Button..................$15
This seller will not ship out of the US even though the part is not over the value limit other vendors have and does not appear to need a license/Export Permit.
Quote from Brownells site
"Generally speaking, items which usually need a license are:
Frames
Receivers
Barrels
Barrel Liners
Various other gun parts such as triggers, sears, ejectors, magazine tubes, scopes, and other items if the ordered amount is over $100.00 US."
Does anyone have a US address or contact they use to ship from sellers like this? The Gun was inherited and that is the only outstanding piece. Lacking the button makes it very difficult to open the action.
Please contact me via PM if you can assist.
