That $595 is for the "Rack Grade" rifles, in other words, those used to paddle the rubber rafts ashore on a Pacific Island. A half decent one will cost you $1200- and an excellent one about $1800 for a good shooter.

If you are a U.S. Citizen, a member of the NRA, and a registered Competition Shooter, you might get one.

Do you research first. By the time you get a good quality M1 Garand to Canada you looking at anywhere 1000-1800$, depends on year, make etc. Good luck.

LOL, I paid less for a complete SA M1D Garand/Optics/Sling/ Hart Flash Hider and a Winchester Garand and a Springfield Garand than you are asking for the 3 barrels in your EE ad! How's my Performance and Money Management Skills!

Yes please someone try to import at US made government issue Garand...it would be great entertainment.

There are plenty of rusted pitted shot out Garands up here for the same money.

This is the Wake Up and Smell the Coffee Portion

It's like there exists an Unwritten Black Market Price for Canada (The Sky is the limit for price, or Gouging) for certain firearms rather than following ANY GUIDE or the US Blue Book, Standard Catalog of Firearms Prices, Flaydermans, Manowar, etc.

But then when you have guys selling Valmets for 6 to 7K, 1919 TNW for 8 to 10K, and with 59 Back to Top Bumps with no sale I guess the "Black Market" doesn't always work

But then there's those who say Canadian Prices are always lower than American Prices, and American Prices have nothing to do with our gun prices.
And then when Black Market Prices are 3 to 4 times the American Price, you know there is a Problem.

The Bamboozler will use the phrase "Yes, it's Expensive, but they're hard to Find" which really means feed my wallet if you really want it!

I can't speak to all guns but I do know the Garand market. Interest in WW2 era firearms is at an all time high and the Garand is the symbol for US participation in the greatest conflict of the 20th century. Everyone wants to get one, and those that have one want more...

The days of cheap Garands are gone gone and gone...
