tornado at Mortlach SK. half mile wide funnel cloud according to the radio.
rains so heavy we had to stop.
after the storm. i have never seen clouds like this in my life.

I had a great time as usual. & I think I know where that honey hole is. If not I found a good one on the way home. If I has left the 223 out instead of the 22 I would have been home a couple hrs later. Did get one at 75 yards though. No pics of the shoot itself. Lots them transferring from the phone. Damn computer. All my cannon vids gone. oh well next year!
Also spent 3 days fixing trailer. Lost brake wires on 3 wheels, propane lines were pounded flat, plus lost sensor wires & one sensor for the black water tank. What 300+kms of gravel will do!

Thank you all for making our first gopher shoot a trip to remember. We will definitely try to make it out next year. It was too much fun to do just once.
On the way out I managed to get 9 more gophers for a total of 40, that will be my benchmark for next trip.

Another awesome gopher shoot. Thanks again to Ernieand family for the use of their land and for setting things up for us. Thanks to Lawrence for non-stop entertainment. Thanks to Captain2K for doing all the dirty work again. I heard some rumblings that there will be a collection taken up to buy Ernie a new rifle. Rumour has it that he'd like a 10/22 with a scope. Count me in and let me know where to send the money.
I'm glad I got to do some shooting with most of you (bclinehand protected his honey hole and I could never quite follow him). I really enjoyed meeting the new attendees and shooting the #### with you old timers. I told Jacquie on the way home that next year I may not even bring any guns. We had so much fun around camp.

WHAT!!?? I'm bringing MORE guns, but I may to go looking for "gophers" since I got more at home than at the "shoot". And camp was more fun.
