Issues With BC Chief Firearms Officer

I just received my LTATT in the mail but i still got no reg cert.... meh so much for shooting my m&p 40 this weekend. soon though and I should be getting my nea 15 next week as well status is shipped as of today... and the weather is beautiful. and my wife is going to give birth to our baby pretty soon maybe next week lol when it rains it pours.

Just another data point...

I faxed in my application for transfer and LTATT of my first restricted firearm on May 25. I received the confirmation of transfer and LTATT yesterday (dated July 3). No registration certificate yet.

July 05, LTATT approved emailed, called store, good to go, picked up July 06. Happy as all hell but still have to wait for registration certificate. :) Weenzy you got a 40 too so we should meet up at a range for some friendly comps haha BTW congrats on the baby

I'm still new at this whole process on Tuesday I received my Firearms Registration Certificate and my LTATT last week. I'm now still waiting for the transfer so I can pick it up. Will they tell me when the transfer is complete or have to wait for the dealer to recieve the transfer? May 18 we submitted everything at the store I feel like what another member said every time you call they slow it down more Im to timid to call I don't want to wait further.

I believe that they notify the seller that they can release the gun to the buyer, so either the store or the seller contacts you to pick up your purchase.

I just got a call from my MP or rather his spokesperson regarding my email and they were of no help at all. I told her that I thought BC should maybe catch up with the rest of the world and start issuing things via EMAIL. she simply spewed the same thing the cfo office says that they are backlogged and that att's are handled provincially and not federally so therefore i should contact my MLA.

i have received my LTATT though and it took approximately 4 weeks for it to process so not horrible compared to some but still unacceptably long. now i am waiting registration certs.....

BC LATT info

Here is my info:

Submission Date: June 14th
First Restricted (yes/no): yes
Short term / Long term ATT: LATT

I have not called them, probably would be a waste of time - mine and theirs:)

Received a letter stating they did I did not send in an application for LTATT (which was done for me by the dealer; apparently they lost it). I called in an gave all my info for the application over the phone, then faxed in my range membership, hopefully not too long now.

Posted previously: When I called in using the BC CFO's extension I got someone from N.B. who said her office and the alberta office were helping out the BC office for the month of July to help clear the backlog.
