Alright, how cool would it be to convert a CZ858 to fire either 5.45x39 or 7.62x45 (the proposed czech round intended for the Vz.52 originally)?
Ignore ammo costs.
Ignore the fact that when you tell people the calibre they'll go 'A HURR DUR don't you mean 5.56/7.62 NATO?'
It just seems like it'd be a really neat thing to have.

Any other different calibres people would like to see this rifle in?

Not exactly a red rifle, but Kel-Tec is making an RFB in 7.62x39. It if it's not a ##### to clean, is well made, and functions well with surplus, I'll be quick to get it. It'll probably take AK mags, which is fine as there's a lot of those here in Canada but they're just never for sale because the SKS-D is pretty much the only legal gun that uses them that's popular.

I'd also probably get a well made .22LR conversion kit for my 858. And, as mentioned above, if CZ made an 858 in 7.62x51, I'd be very interested.

.500 S n' Dub. 12" barrel, 30 rd mags. In a magical world where mag restrictions cease to exist. Come to think of it, if we export all the stupid people in Canada the hell out of here for some profit we could make a magical land of years ago where men women and children could buy a machine gun and cut stuff up with it in the bush... Americans would blab about trips to Canada to shoot cool ass guns that they cant have. Failing that I'd like a dedicated .22lr shorty non-restricted with big mags.

5.45x39 would be great, there is a large quantity of surplus available on the world market. Only reason it's not here is because the main platform that shoots it was prohibited nearly 20 years ago. A bit chicken and the egg as how do you start the popularity, gun or ammunition first? I don't see why one of our larger importers couldn't secure both at the same time.

.300 Blackout would also be a nice option.

Why would you want .300 BLK when 7.62x39 is damn near the same round?

I agree. I don't get the lure of the blackout.

Agree. The 300 blackout only makes any sense as a cartridge to fit the special niche it as made, for with all those restrictions (needs to work in existing AR platorms, with existing mags, blah, blah, blah.). Apart from that I have it has no reason to exist, particularly considering it's just a very slilghtly tweaked version of the age-old 7.62x39, which is already completely established world wide.

Apart from that....

I'd like to see a CZ 858 (or an SKS) in .458 x2" American.

Really.
