Hmmm, I'm not sure about this one myself, but bare in mind, that gun laws and hunting laws are different. That RCMP link is general gun law, not hunting law.
That 10 round mag is legal for the range and even plinking in the back 40, no question, but as soon as you aim that gun at an animal, it's a game changer.
For instance, I can go to my clubs trap range and pop a full tube a 5 rounds in my shotgun, but I better have a plug in it if I decided to chase a partridge in Ontario.
I don't have a hunting license, so really, I have no idea, just throwing that out there for you to think about. After all, it is technically a pistol mag, and you cannot hunt with a pistol. I see you're from Albert, I would not even risk it here in Ontario.
