was looking for winchester AA 12 guage shells ... had a bugger of a time finding them then came across labaron sports. What a horrible experience.
Phoned online order number 1 800 567 3377(which is based out of quebec) and ask if they have Winchester AA 12 gauge in stock. Lady says I have to call 514 381 4584 and ask for ammo, and that she only takes orders. So call that number several times and its busy. So call the 1 800 number again and and explain I want to order something and 514 number was busy. She says its not busy now ... she can tell ... so call 514 again and get thru and they only have 2 boxes left. I ask the lady if can order from her or if i have to call the 1 800 ... she says I will transfer you. (why didnt the twit at the order desk transfer me instead of telling me I had to phone??)
OK .. so she transfers me and place order. Then lady at order desk tells me only canpar is allowed to ship ammo ... no one else ... I say canpar is fine but other companies can ship ammo. She tells me "only canpar can ship ammo .. no one else" (what ever .. who cares just ship it .. use grandma on a mule for all I care).
Lady then asks for my address as on my pal so I give it to her.. which is PO box and a legal site description (for I live in rural SK). I then tell I want to give the shipping address (which is local business in the town nearby). She says they can only ship to the address on my pal and this was law. I explained that I have bought ammo from ontario and alberta and they shipped to the business for me. She says they cant do that. I ask why and she sayes it is law .. they can only ship to address on pal. OK ... remembering this is quebec (and have some weird rules) and think this may just be. So I get the number for quebec CFO (which is called something else) and give them a call and explain the situation and they say it is OK to have the ammo shipped to a different address, for couriers wont deliver to my property.
Thinking the lady doesnt know the law I call her back and ask if they cant ship to different address because of law or store policy. She saids its law!! I explain to her I called quebec cfo and he said it is OK. I ask if she wants the number to check and say no ... its store policy then ... and cancelled my order.
WTF is up with this. Brainless twits ... how do they stay in business!!
