K31 but pad/sight recommendations

This thing feels like its made for a 5 foot tall person, anyone have any good ideas/things to throw on the but pad?

Also does anyone know of a good pair of replacement irons that I can put on without altering the gun?

Swiss diopters are a must for this gun. They can be had for around $300-$350. Any hunting style butt pad should fit the stock.

I have little love for the diopter, theres one siting in my cabinet that I purchased for much cheaper than $300 when I bought the gun. Its cool, I keep meaning to take it out...


But my k31 is my badass irons rifle, I throw on the bayonet, scream my best war cry and proceed to attempt tight groups.

The stock is not cut square under the stock plate, it is mildly crescent shaped and would be tough to put a typical recoil pad on. Fortunately, diopter sells an adapter plate that fills the crescent and leaves a flat surface to mount a pad to. When I bought one from him it was about $10. Alternatively, OP can use a slip-on pad and not screw with the butt plate or stock.

+1. OP needs to PM diopter and ask about some bolt-on aperture sights and the butt pad adapter I mentioned.
