This thing feels like its made for a 5 foot tall person, anyone have any good ideas/things to throw on the but pad?

Also does anyone know of a good pair of replacement irons that I can put on without altering the gun?

I have little love for the diopter, theres one siting in my cabinet that I purchased for much cheaper than $300 when I bought the gun. Its cool, I keep meaning to take it out...

But my k31 is my badass irons rifle, I throw on the bayonet, scream my best war cry and proceed to attempt tight groups.

Swiss diopters are a must for this gun. They can be had for around $300-$350. Any hunting style butt pad should fit the stock.

The stock is not cut square under the stock plate, it is mildly crescent shaped and would be tough to put a typical recoil pad on. Fortunately, diopter sells an adapter plate that fills the crescent and leaves a flat surface to mount a pad to. When I bought one from him it was about $10. Alternatively, OP can use a slip-on pad and not screw with the butt plate or stock.

Diopter may be able to advise where such items can be had. He's the resident K31 expert :)

+1. OP needs to PM diopter and ask about some bolt-on aperture sights and the butt pad adapter I mentioned.

Length of pull comfort can depend on many factors besides shooter's height.
Shooting position, angle of shoulders to stock and where you place your cheek.

Butt plate adapter just fills curves on stock's butt to give you a flat surface to add a regular recoil pad.

Diopter sights really help shooters whose eyes are past their prime.
There is a learning curve unless you already shot a lot of rimfire or centerfire match rifles.
