Colt also made a 1911 Gold Cup in 38spl...
Is there a real 1911 in 38/357?
It doesn't get much more real then a Colt Gold Cup...
They are target guns made to shoot target loads.
That does not mean they are not "real" 1911s...
You want to shoot .38spl and .357 out of the same gun get a revolver...
I was looking into this a few months ago. The problem with a semi auto 357/38 it that you have to change springs out, now its not supposed to take long but have to carry extra springs around which in my mind defets the purpose. So I went with a revolver instead.
That takes 30 seconds....if you are speaking about a 1911 platform...
Got a ruger vaquero for .38/357. I'll have to skip on the 9mm roundsGet the Ruger Blackhawk Convertible and you'll shoot 9mm/.38/.357.
Value cannot be beat!
