Current BC LTATT wait time

If I had club membership would I be issued a STATT?

I don't know. A quick (read 15 minutes on hold and 30 seconds talking to someone) call to the CFC might give you an idea.

I have an interview with Abby Fish and Game on the 11th

There are some clubs that don't require an interview. You can get a membership instantly. Search around on these forums; I think there is a club in Langley that sells no-frills memberships for $30/year.

Yea, 'cept I just got off the phone at the time of posting with the CFC and forgot to ask.

I rely far too much on the knowledgeable and friendly people of this MB to answer my questions.

Abbotsford is my local club though, I'd rather support them and drag people along as my guests!

Just got off the phone with a helpful CFO employee from NB. They informed me that they're up to the first week of July right now and that she has seen the pace increasing lately. Hopefully they're actually starting to chip away at the backlog.

WTF??? I don't think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. My wife is nearly 1 month waiting for her ATT and phoned to check this morning. They told her they were processing June 10 at the moment. That is what she found out on her second call. The first time she called the woman she spoke with told her they dont issue an ATT until you purchase a firearm which my wife accepted as fact until my daughter told her that is bulshyte and insisted she phone back and try again. Phuking bureaucracy, a theatre of the absurd for sure.

from Ontario...sorry...

Received my ATT today.........

8 business days (1.5 weeks)...great service IMO.

I have never had any complaints about my dealings with the Ontario CFO..always very polite and helpful

I left a message earlier today. I just got a call back.

They said they are making really good progress on the backlog of LTATTs. They are up to July 2nd. They have four people working on it at the moment. The person I spoke with is working overtime through the whole upcoming weekend, and I think she said several others will be too.

Because I applied for mine on July 3rd, she was able to promise that she'd get to mine tomorrow for sure, including my pending restricted transfers.

Let's all keep posting our applied/approved dates so we can stay on top of them about this. This apparent improvement is great, but only if it lasts.

july 2nd? What a load of BS, I bought a GSG1911 the day I got my licence(June 22), and it still hasn't completed transfer as of yesterday. 6 weeks and counting. Yes, I'm upset.

Call them. The person I talked to seemed to imply that any older ones would be processed immediately if they are brought to their attention.

I'm living in alberta for the summer, it wouldn't do me much good to push it forward any faster, as I won't get to shoot it until I get home regardless of how long it takes

yours should be up soon, mine was sent in june 22 as well and just got it done today, though i did call them as it appeared they had lost my ltatt but managed to find it.... anyways 42 days in total.... at least it's done now, brought my sig sauer 1911-22 home tonight, cleaned and lubed it now i wait for the reg to show up so i can take it to the range!

I'm holding off buying or selling any restricteds for this exact reason. They have no excuse for having it take this long

Applied for my first LTATT July 3rd. Got it August 3rd. That's 4.5 weeks.

I also started two restricted transfers while waiting, and both were approved August 3rd as well.
