Semi auto belt fed rifles.

First I must apologize for the delay, I only became aware of your message when BEEZER posted....
There seems to be some confusion here, these are NOT full auto weapons being converted to Semi Auto.... Rather we use some original parts but the bolt has to be completely re-engineered to fire closed bolt (any good machine shop)
the trigger group is also re-engineered to function SA only also prevents FA parts and components from being used....(Any good machine shop..)

The most important part is the manufacturing of a completely new receiver.... You would require some serious stamping and metal forming equipment....
You would require a minimum 100 ton press.... Rather than have new dies made we would be pleased to sell you a complete set....
You would also require a full set of jigs for the various manufacturing steps....

John that would be a great deal! I always thought that SA MG-42s would be a lot cheaper to make than SA MG-34s once you scale production up enough since they're stamped for the most part. If you managed to keep retail under $3000 these units would sell like hotcakes.
 
I just wanted to get this on record. If I could pay less than 3000 and end with with a non restricted semi auto MG42 .... I would want one ASAP!
 
I want an SA MG42 too!

You could obviously sell non functioning versions to people who only need them for display, helping to increase the sales potential to cover the initial run numbers required.

I think it needs to be pitched to the gun buying public that if enough people line up for MG42's Martstar will get them made. Start an advertising campaign, nothing expensive, just get the word out. It would obviously be best if people made deposits, to verify their commitment.

I understand that Marstar is probably reading the market correctly and that there just isn't enough of a customer base to justify a production run of MG42's.

However I still think it's worth a try, it would just be incredible to have canadian made MG42's, well worth the proposed price.

Lol just see if you can get a nice financing person like car dealerships to secure a 0% loan on the spot for a nice 1919 lol...
 
Ok...I know that gun then. I had a chance to fire it a couple weekends ago. It ran perfectly, as did my 1919 (C5).

He had his gun mounted on the tripod adapter I just finished building, to see how it worked. :)
