CRAP !! My KSG NEVER BROKE !! IT'S A GOOD GUN !!

How to destroy KSG ejection

I would not carve anything out as that would probably void the warranty;)

The last rail with the notch bumps into the slide release lever pushing it down with a snap . It is supposed to do that. It causes a final extended snap to the shell remover arms and ensures complete ejection.

Carving it can cause poor ejection with short stroking symptoms (double feeds etc)

The notch may be precisely located to prevent stress on the parts concerned.

Leave it as is . :shotgun: Laugh2

so if there are widespread reports of a certain gun blowing up in peoples faces, i actually have to own one and have it blow up in my face to be able to voice the opinion that theyre junk?

90% of the people that purchase an expensive gun will look for ways to justify their purchase regardless of its glaring faults -- especially the eager ones that just couldnt wait and paid extra to get their hands on them.
Widespread reports of a certain gun blowing up in people's.face eh... I'm from Missouri...So show me these multiple reports of KSG's blowing up. Waiting.... Waiting.... Tumbleweed rolls by... Still waiting...and nothing. I think your getting your facts mixed up guy...

it was a hypothetical example. over a dozen people before you had no problems grasping that. i guess youre not the sharpest pencil in the box.

We can clearly see you have a hate on for Kel-Tec, and enjoy stirring the pot with regurgitated information found/made up on the Web... That's cool...that's your thing...your going to eventually get a rise outta someone who'll take the bait your casting out, and go into "snap mode"...I look forward to reading the crapfest that follows....I actually find third party, double endorsed out of state friend of a friend (no names) posts to be quite humorous...desperate, but nonetheless humorous...

^pretty ironic when taken in context with your little emo tirade

3" Slugs hit the 200 yd gong alla time with my KSG when I aim 2 ft. high and 3 ft. to the left --:p

I love my KSG.
Yes, I paid way too much for it ($1200 plus traded a non-res. CZ-858 in Fab Furniture) but I must say it's worth it now that I've put several hundred rounds down range.
Not one problem with it at all!
Below is a link to a video of me shooting 15 rounds in 12 secs. and could go faster with switching faster ;-)

WHOAAA! How much were these selling for? Last I recall they were supposed to come in around the 1k range...apparently that is not the case?

WOW boo urns on keltec over priced junk think i will stick with a real shotie like the 870

Maybe you should read this thread. Somehow people like to keeping bumping the thread that says it broke, instead of the thread which has the OPs apology.

OP, maybe it's time you edit the thread title.

Ok there buddy.. you go do that.. V:I:

I'm getting really tired seeing all these guys crapping all over the KSG, how its made of plastic, always brakes, and extremely overpriced..

I'm sure if these guns would be widely available, for a regular price of $999,
they would become very popular fast.. And now, since there is only 50+ of them in Canada, and probably not more then 10 among CGN members.. IT is really hard to get the message across that it is actually an awesome gun, while other 99990 people that haven't even seen it shouting how bad it is...

Relax people..

And FFS.... OP, Change the thread title.....

Go to "Edit" then "Go Advanced" and change it to " Never seen the KSG, but i think it SUCKS " that is proper name for this thread... Laugh2

Anyways, Here are few pics..

Owners know the true nature of the KSG ;) -- by the way which do you prefer the KSG or that Turkish bullpup abortion you got from nick the #### that kept breaking ?

----Never argue with idiots - they have more practice -----------

As of today my ksg has seen over 2K in cheap walmart shells, and two 175 federal buck cans emptied on it. I'm in love. I've had two fail to extracts however with one specific box of old, old federal cheapo skeet ammo where the ksg pulled the rim off the shell... Ammo or gun? I'm betting ammo.

I run the magpul moe front vertical grip, and i have been anything but careful with it. she's holding up just fine.

everyone that has laid hands on it offers to buy it, including many 870 guys.

It's a great firearm so far.

I am a walnut and high blue steel gun guy, but the Kel Tec is the one and only black gun in the vault, it's wonderful! My good friend thought i was playing games with him when he saw me with it,HA thought I must have lost my mind! Nope Kel Tec is just a great gun you will never get rid of unless you sell your gun right now too double your money right now. Next job is to thread the barrel for choke tubes. Have shot a couple hundred old paper #2,#4 heavy shot high brass, with no ejection or feed issues. cheers Dale Z!
