... blah blah blah ... Especially when a decent AR is half the price. I expect a damn good product or something very unique. A bit more than just it's non restricted status. Because let's face it if the AR were non restricted at it's current price point or even the same as an XCR then no one would buy the XCR. ... blah ...
I call bullpoo on this one.

I've heard this line from a few people before.
These posts always sound like XCR-envy to me.
A DD M4 is $1670. An XCR-L is $2350. That's less than $700 difference. Unless I failed math that's not half.
Now replace all of the equiv plastic parts on the DD with metal and the cost gets closer.
And $800 Norinco's aren't a "decent AR" and are not in the same category.
Take into consideration the additional cost of a range membership to go along with your restricted firearm, and that you can't do
anything shooting-wise with the AR/M4 outside of the range. You can't even legally load/cycle live rounds outside of a range.
Mine: XCR-L serial 8000+, zero problems, I use XCR 10rd pistol mags (
not LARS), zero FTFs FTFs or FTEs so far.
The XCR is my favorite rifle to shoot
by far, awesome fun. Always goes with me when I go shooting, regardless of what other firearms I take. Equipped with a MagPul AFG2 and Leupold Prismatic 1x.
