The only issue I have had is the buffers tearing. But it is an easy fix. Zero FTF, FTE. About 500 rounds through. Running on #2 but I am going to switch to #1.

When i got mine, the BHO was a bit crooked, almost sideways, apparently and proceeded to carve a divot in the bottom of my bolt, and wear the BHO down at the same time. I straightened it out, but it was too little too late. 1000+ rounds thru it, and now, FTEs ONCE every TWO mags. Unacceptable.

Called Wolverine and new bolt assembly AND BHO in the mail. Thanks Wolverine! God I hope this fixes it because I really do like the rifle and have heard good things. On a brighter note, Tavor arrived today!

I own 3 xcr's all first and second gens and I have had nothing but fun with my xcr's
Great gun. For me they are more fun then my 2 ar's and shoot better

For an AR to do .5 moa at range your spending 3000 bucks or more

And battle rifles where never ment for that kind of accuracy at .5 moa that is a long range precision rifle ment to sit on a bench not slung on your chest

Also .5 moa AR's will be in the 10-12 pound range

I had one of the first 25 in Canada. Not a hiccup, failure or anything. No loctite either. My tavor was just as reliable, same with my ACR.

My ARs have been much more finicky though. I still love my ARs but wouldn't trust my life to em. For end of the earth reliability that goes to my 11.5" VZ.

That's my 0.02$

I was commenting because I thought all the drama was just that, drama and BS... Honestly, I am not sure what to think after seeing the results thus far and reading this thread… Maybe a few more owners need to make their way out of the woodwork…

As soon as you mention XCR there's Drama! That's just the way it is and you have to put up with it. For the record my XCR .223 and x39 kit has been reliable. A couple jams in the first few mags when new (shooting .223) then nothing but boring reliability. Bought a x39 kit and it worked perfect from the start. I actually prefer it in x39 form, I am considering a 6.8 kit down the road and also a XCR-M when I can afford it.

Not completely accurate. LMT export MRP model with Mike Rock barrel SS barrel 16" still less than a XCR. For a target rifle Stag 6R $1500 guaranteed to shoot .5 moa.

You're also seeing a lot of .5 capable DM AR10 style rifles being fielded. From Armalite to KAC and LMT. The UK is using the LMT MWS with a SS 16" barrel as a battle patrol/DM rifle. With a 16" barrel it's pretty handy. .5 capable with match grade ammo.

The ADCOR I mentioned is a sub moa piston driven AR upper being tested for the M4 replacement trials. It offers all the advantages and with a low cost lower is less than 2K.

We are now hitting the sub moa mark for battle rifles. This is with a chrome lined barrel. At one time this was the realm of bolt guns only.

You are correct but at what distance are they claiming .5 moa i will bet it isn't 400 0r 500 yards from a 16" barrel at 100 sure maybe 200 with a crack shot on a rest.

i have got .75 to 1.25 moa out of my XCR's before not much of a differance.

not looking for a fight just sateing my opinion

XCR I have is a mid 7### serial number purchased from Wolverine a few months ago. Great rifle, no complaints, no problems. Also have an AR which I also like. Just buy both like I did and then no drama :)

No issues with mine in 223. Shoots great, no parts have ever came loose. Shoots ~1MOA with reloads, ~3 with bulk American Eagle. I've never had to worry about anything while shooting it. Happy I can take it hunting and to non-res ranges...

Bought mine new a year ago. It had a faulty ejector, wolverine replaced under warranty, and now it runs perfectly. And it's super accurate, under 1 moa, can't beat that from a non res semi auto.

I have about 2500 rounds through my 7### serialed xcr and it has been pretty good. Only malfunctions have been a couple failures to go into battery with lighter handloads on gas setting 1. On gas setting 2 I have never had an issue. The ambi selector came a little bit loose, but a drop of blue loctite and it has never happened again. With 69 grain sierra match kings I have it down to 1-1.5 MOA and with bulk 55 grain fmj its about 3 MOA. Shot it at some steel out to ~600 yards the other weekend, good fun.
