I was commenting because I thought all the drama was just that, drama and BS... Honestly, I am not sure what to think after seeing the results thus far and reading this thread… Maybe a few more owners need to make their way out of the woodwork…
I own 3 xcr's all first and second gens and I have had nothing but fun with my xcr's
Great gun. For me they are more fun then my 2 ar's and shoot better
For an AR to do .5 moa at range your spending 3000 bucks or more
And battle rifles where never ment for that kind of accuracy at .5 moa that is a long range precision rifle ment to sit on a bench not slung on your chest
Also .5 moa AR's will be in the 10-12 pound range
Not completely accurate. LMT export MRP model with Mike Rock barrel SS barrel 16" still less than a XCR. For a target rifle Stag 6R $1500 guaranteed to shoot .5 moa.
You're also seeing a lot of .5 capable DM AR10 style rifles being fielded. From Armalite to KAC and LMT. The UK is using the LMT MWS with a SS 16" barrel as a battle patrol/DM rifle. With a 16" barrel it's pretty handy. .5 capable with match grade ammo.
The ADCOR I mentioned is a sub moa piston driven AR upper being tested for the M4 replacement trials. It offers all the advantages and with a low cost lower is less than 2K.
We are now hitting the sub moa mark for battle rifles. This is with a chrome lined barrel. At one time this was the realm of bolt guns only.
