Well I finally bought my first black rifle yesterday. I picked up a nice new XCR-L in .223 from the Wood Joynt in Brandon. I've got to say I am really pumped about this rifle! I decided that the 200 round breakin needed to get as soon as possible, so once I got home I promptly went to a field and had some fun
all in all I like this gun a lot, especially how steady I can hold the gun on target for a quick follow up shot.
I think today's project will be to mount my Bushnell Elite 3200 and see if I can't get it sighted in. On that note, to XCR owners out there, how accurate can I expect to be using 55 grain FMJ at say 400 yards? And what stock would you recommend for a fairly tall guy who finds the original stock to be too short?
