EESA Zombie Apocalypse 2012 Multigun (Update Post 31)

Absolutely they can shoot for fun! We can maybe have a fun bunch division.

So, just so I am clear....the match is set up ready to go. I left home at 6am this morning....wont be back until likely 8:30....the match is a go. If people decide they are not shooting bevause they don't want to get theor feet wet....there will be no refunds....
Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow morning!

Awesome! Should be interesting with the weather.

Please see post 150....then refer to our website, which can be found in the first post, then read the rules for tactical optics/scopes and Tactical Irons

I read the rules kinda quick and missed the part about gun being factory, etc...etc...

I don't have any hand guns that are as such.. they all have some changes to not meet this criteria.... I hope I can be in the "fun bunch" category, and shoot for no score.. I just want to shoot zombies.. :D

I'll bring the Glock & Colt and hopefully I can use one of them.. or I'll help patch

Its internals you can modify from what i understand. IPSC stuff should be no problem and I think this about having fun. If you built some sort of race gun, and your stuck, i have a spare Smith in .45, if your right handed. (also a Glock). Just go, be safe and have fun!

Excellent Fellow. That's why people love the EESA & the folks who are members there.

Well...just home now...I think things went pretty well today.
To the volunteers....if I didn't personally thank you today, I am sorry....Kudos to all that put in some time to make the match run great.(the Junior Rifle shooters were a huge help)

Thanks again to the Sponsers
Gobles firearms of London
Hamilton Tactical
NEA Firearms
And of course the personal sponsers for their donations.

Thanks to the shooters who came out, braved the breif rain (we really dodged a bullet the rain, it rained on my way home). Without the shooters their is no sport.
I trust all had fun, and keep in mind that I am looking for more sponsers for next years match, so send them my way if you know anyone/companies that would be interested!

I will endeavor to geat my stats guy to get the results posted on our website.

Thanks!
(takes giant pull from Forty Creek Whiskey on the rocks) cheers!

Today was one of the best days I have had shooting. Thanks to all the hard work from the Organizer, R.O.s and stage set up gang it takes people with crazy minds and the drive to make a day like this happen. Hope to see more matches in the future.
Thanks for all your work.

P.S.
My 6 year old son has bugged me all night to break the glass and eat the twinkies. lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed this match and will attend in future...

If rain day again, I'm not going to drive over area that i dont know if it's quick sand or not ;) ...

Thanks to all who helped the match happen !!!

EESA Zombie Apocalypse 2012 Multigun (Update Post 31

Well the rain stayed away for most of the day the weather turned out OK.Like to thank Craig for putting this Match on.It guys like him that put endless hours into these matches so everyone can have a good time. Also like to thank all EESA staff that always come together to help make theses matches run smooth as possible. It was nice to have the students out to set steel ,I no the 2 that work on my range were awsome workers and never complained once.Hopefully everyone had a good time.

Great job Craig! Thanks to all the helpers. My squad started at the indoor no light stage so never had one drop of rain during any stage. Was very challenging with just irons but I really enjoyed it! Only issue I had was my 870 double feeding so I borrowed a shotgun for the rest of the match. Should have brought my 590. :)

Sorry I couldn't stop laughing when you got stuck because just the day before you asked me if I was interested in off roading with you. You even said not serious stuff where you would get stuck. Too funny!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone's at ESSA for putting on another great match. As always it was was well run and challenging.

See you at the next one.

Whats funnier was the drive home.
Felt like I was riding on a massage chair traveling 100kph.
LOL

After a couple (yes multiple) stops at the car wash, we managed to get all the mud/rocks off the rims and vibrations stopped.
Good times!!

Thanks to everyone who had a hand in this match.
Fun stages, great prizes, good people.
Craig and his crew did a great job setting up and running the match.

NEA brought some toys for people to play with that most people would never get to use unless they went state-side, and supplied the ammo. Free ammo, suppressed AR, what's not to like?

To the match sponsors, both individuals and retailers/manufacturers, your contributions were noticed and appreciated.

Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to Craig & Co. and all the volunteers, sponsors for making this match possible.

Yes, I took the paint off that 8" plate (video evidence below at 1:01), and no I wasn't shooting anything but 150gr soft point ammo. :p

I really loved that bolt action you were using. I actually managed to hit the two square plates on this stage with my irons on a .223 Norinco M4. Also hit two water bottles on the previous stage with it. :)
