One thing that I really don't get is the price of these rifles ...
The MR1 new is 1700$, a good AR is 1500$, the ACR is 3000$, the XCR is 2500$, the Swiss Arms is 3400$. Looking at the actual engineering of the rifles I would argue that the MR1, XCR and ACR should be pretty cheap, it doesn't cost much to pour plastic into a mold and the actions don't look like they're required much tooling. The AR action looks like it would take quite a lot of work. I've never looked over a Swiss Arms. I'm not a gun expert but usually when a company is boasting simplicity they are probably also looking at lower manufacturing costs.
