keltec SU16 reviews please

I have about 500 rounds through mine. Only malfunction was the bolt didnt hold open once on the last range trip. Seems the mechanism got stuck. I pressed up on the actuator on the mag well and it was fine after that.
Accuracy with factory sights is fine.

Would I rather have an Ar180b?
Yes, but that boat has sailed.
Would I rather have an Ar15?
Yes, but it's restricted.
Would I rather have a Black Special?
Yes, but I dont have that kind of money to put into a gun.

Do I regret my purchase or am in any way disappointed?
No.

No.

I feel exactly the same way.

I take it you've been firing it with the stock stock??

Yea I was for a while, I had the pistol grip adapter sans stock I bought from the states, so I got a cheap($60) 6position m4 stock from brownells that included the buffertube & hardware.
Threw it on yesterday, hot damn, that feels so much nicer. Nice level surface for a good repeatable check weld.

I really like mine. Does 1 1/2 to 2 inch groups at 100. It isn't an AR. It isn't a black special, a Tavor or an XCR. But it does reliably and reasonably accurately send rounds down range from LAR mags at a fraction of the cost. I have no regrets with mine.

i am well aware its not top shelf quality so lets just skip the badgering lol im just a little curious how this odd looking piece is holding up as far as accuracy and reliability is concerned oh and is that fold out bipod a gimic or does it actually work and not !@#$ out?

Only way i would buy this gun is if I can get the charlie model butt stock, that you fold to the side and you can still fire. The factory F model stock in my opinion sucks, because you can't fire while folded.
