Just picked up a Speedfeed III stock , a set of XS front sights and Wilson rear. Once everything comes in I'll post a pic. Cant wait to get it all up and running.

I'm debating between the Wilson, Vang Comp and XS systems... never thought of mixing front-rears, would love to hear your take.

Ya I was searching the web and came across a couple guys who had mixed front and rears with good success. Picked up the XS front and Wilson rear off the EE for $110. Once I get everything installed I'll post some pics and let ya know how it works out.

Krylon fusion pepper red. Turned out pretty good. Made a mess in the garage and only had one disaster.

i have had good results with the krylon paint in a green camouflage colour. a trick i learned by experimenting was using farm machinery grease on any piece that you did not want paint on . after the paint dries wipe the grease off and any excess paint comes right off . i am looking forward to seeing the end result .

OAL with no spacers is 27.25" LOP is 12.5" The grip angle seems to make it impossible to punch self in the nose with recoil like the hogue.

Right now I have a 14" Fabarm pump. I think you do too correct?

3.5" doesn't seem like much but that would carry even better and would carry much better in the sleeve on the side of my pack

you will love the xs sights....i put it on mine..it's the best sight .....

also if you take a tac-star 6 shot side saddle, and cut the holder back to 4 rounds..the extra that sticks forward can be modified to install the rail that came for the top on the side....for light..whatever. won't interfere with slide action (hand passes by light with out any interference). also put a cheap little laser on it...opened it up filled it with non-conductive silicone...now it holds zero and is ressistant to recoil

great little gun...have had no problems at all

That looks like a "Knoxx Spec-ops Recoil Reducing Stock". I have the same one. Should fit on any 870 or clone.
