I did quite a bit of reading on the gremlin before I picked up my 858. Mine has been gremlin free since day 1. I managed to solve a fellow range member's gremlin by adding a thin washer to the pin that the trigger pivots onto on the left hand side. Turns out that the trigger assembly can shift slightly from side to side during extensive use, or rapid firing, which may be a partial cause of the gremlin. Adding the washer prevented this movement, and slayed the gremlin on this particular 858 from that day forward.

Seriously though I have two (18 & 11" ) and love them both. Great guns. The only sad thing is having to grab the CZ's and having to leave my AK's in the safe.

I have fired AK's (full auto even ) I'm not a huge fan of them all around, sights, stock angle, the way they heat up to 4 million farenheit after about 20 rounds fired quickly lol

But I would still own one just because of their reliability, low cost to feed, cheap cost of the gun and of course BECAUSE IT'S A FACKIN' AK! lol

I honestly don't know what's worse, just not having one at all with no possibility of ever owning one in this country or having one or more and not even being able to legally assemble and fire the ******* things

I am going to get one with the folding stock and replace the hand grips. I see some people put a front pistol grip on. Is that the way to go? I am use to putting my hand flat. Never had a front pistol grip.
