USGI Bolts?

Any idea where I could source a USGI bolt and how much it would cost? I was at the range today to try out my new BM59 rear sight and my Norinco bolt flew apart when racking my second mag of the day and I was unable to find the extractor...
Pretty disappointed right now... especially since I'm so low on cash. I know Canam offers a warranty but I really don't want to part with the whole rifle just because the bolt decided to spontaneously explode...

Suggestions?

Low on cash and wanting a USGI bolt are incompatible, my friend. USGI bolts will run you around $300 - $400, give or take.

I m sorry for your bad luck, and hope ya get in touch with Hungry.

Is there a reason for bolts doing this, cause and effect sort of thing or is it a case of ' **** happens'.
Quite an alarming posibility, and hopefully as rare as it seems to be.

Hope ya get it fixed soon :)

treelinem14.com has bolt 'guts' and extractors and will ship to canada. prices are reasonable. buy spares, it's rare but it could happen again! get a 3006 shell casing and search the internet for the descriptions or video on assembly, it is a bit of a trick putting it together your 1st time out.

This sounds like a traditional case of the extractor stem protruding past the bottom part of the bolt. This should be checked on all bolts, especially when fitting a new extractor. Normally, the stem would be recessed a little from the bottom of the bolt.

When the extractor protrudes below the bottom surface, the cycling action causes rounds to push the extractor up which could lead to it flying off at a bad time.

No problem, we just prefer to see the bolts in before allowing pre-ordering.

We are trying our best to expand what we offer for M14, however, there are only so much I can do alone.

We just got these in.
