Some proof that it was them might be nice before pulling out all the stops... I assume you've also seen their welfare cheques? Not alot of people on welfare are riding quads.[/QUout
The three idiots are teens and their parents are just as useless as they are and no they are not on welfare.
I was moose hunting this past week, I went into the bush early and told the other guys that I was going to come out at 10:30 and have some oatmeal. When I exited the bush there was a pickup truck parked at our site with the doors open. They did not see me coming and when I got to them they said "I thought this was our friends camp". I keep a small booklet and pen in my pack to write down gps coordinates, I made sure they saw me write down the plate number. Good for us nothing was missing, this time. When did we have to start to chain and lock everything down. I would never think of taking what isn't mine and get burned because I was raised with morals, thinking others are honest as well.
SCUM of the earth. Sorry to hear about your items. I have donated several tree stands to someone and one on my brothers farm right behind his house.
Dino
Only 4 people know about my trail and 3 of them have not asked permission to use it. I have already talked to the guy that did ask and he knows what I'm doing.
Guess the other three will learn the hard way!
when I got to them they said "I thought this was our friends camp".
I have installed 2 cams about 12 ft off the ground to see if they come back and burried 2 8 foot 2x4's with about 40 screws in each of them down the atv trail that goes threw my property.
Not only will I see who they are but I will see them walking by my house after they blow all 4 tires. Being the ass that I am, I will tell them they are not allowed to get their quad and if they do I'll have them charged with trespassing. Of course after that I'll sell their quad for parts on Ebay!
Sucks to be them!!!
That's entrapment. If caught, YOU will be the one in trouble.
Entrapment? he is not inviting them in to commit a crime, he is protecting his property. i'd like to hear what the police would say about this, but in this country you would more than likely be charged.
Doesn't matter whether asked or not. If you set a trap for someone, you can be charged.
Entrapment
Objectionable police conduct such as offering a suspect an opportunity to commit a crime without a reasonable suspicion that he or she is involved with crime or when the police are not pursuing a bona fide inquiry in a high-crime area. It also includes disreputable police conduct that goes beyond providing a suspect an opportunity to commit a crime and actually induces the commission of the crime. The remedy for entrapment is a stay of proceedings.
