Lookin for some schooling on .45 Pistols

I own a norc 1911 its affordable and hits paper , I own a llama 45 its amazingly accurate, I own a Ruger 345 and it feels really good and is very accurate, but i own a glock in 40 S&W its a Glock 22 and I have a 9mm barrel with it as well and as one fellow here said very changeable, but i was going to say the glock is the most accuarte pistol I have its amazing how well it groups so i think you will like it and the 40 S&W has a different recoil than the 45 the 45 seems softer and I myself think is an all around more accurate round at least for me anyways, out of all my 9mm and 40's and 45's the glock wins hands down in the aiming
but you had better really think about reloading or you will be eating wieners and beans and getting skinny cuz it is an addictive hobby and I couldn't imagine having to buy every box of ammo I shoot from a retailer especially 45!! but welcome and happy shooting

My understand is that Gloc does not recommend reloading for their pistols. Kaboom problem and nothing to protect the shooter but plastic. If this is true, no reloading, the Glock becomes a very expensive gun really fast.

Heh Jimmie..
very few recommend reloading, and say doing so will void the warranty. No one abides by that,..as it is virtually impossible to tell if the gun has digested factory, remanufactured, or self reloaded ammunition.

You can't pick the wrong one, buy one, use it if you don't like it sell it and try another one. you will cycle through a lot of pistols before you settle on the 'never sell' pistol you will absolutely love to shoot. It all comes down to biomechanics, yours, not any one else's. guns will feel different in your hands than in your friends, and your wrist angle will cause the sights to line up different for you than for your friends. so what works for you best bud won't work for you. Shoot a lot of different models and enjoy the hunt, it will take a while, seriously. I went through 57 before I found the two I like.

Happy to help, remember guns are social creatures, they need friends to keep them company. Glad your enjoying the CGN, my wallet hates this site.

Good one and it helps explain my addiction/situation.

In my stable of 45s the three on the left are 45 ACP and 1911's or close relatives. Centre right is 45 ACP capable also.

Wow I have never heard that but that doesn't mean anything, well I reload for all of my pistols and i stay withing the acceptable levels on my charts and tables and i am not worried in the least, it gobbles up my reloads like a newborn robin choppin down on a worm and if i could not reload i would not shoot cuz i couldn't afford to shoot as much as i like to
