Norinco "Colt" Python.......?

This is why pythons aren't made anymore. Everytime I see a norinco rifle or pistol I feel like someone just let a wet fart loose. To much of the world wants to shoot a 300 buck revolver, no wonder most of the guns made now are junk.

Shoot your pythons, they were made to use.

With the scarcity of Colt revolver gunsmiths in Canada plus their tendency to go out of time faster than S&Ws or Rugers, I can understand Max's reluctance to shoot a lot of full house .357 magnums through his mint 6" Python.

I agree that a Norinco Python or S&W Model 27 copy is probably very unlikely.

Well, I have a King Cobra to shoot, and I am trying to get a minty vintage Python in my safe that I won't shoot. I get Max's perspective, a fine pistol can be an investment/art piece for sure. I know bupkis about art work, but I know a fine pistol when I see it.....

I wouldn't want to see Norinco make a clone of those fine Colt handguns. If we had to have replicas made, Id rather see Cimarron, Uberti or Pietta do it. I despise how Norinco makes unlicensed copies of guns designed and originally produced in the States or Europe. This is copyright infringement and nothing less.

Hey all.

I feel so ashamed about thinking such bad thoughts here.

I own 2 Pythons that I am reluctant to shoot because they are in pretty damn good shape. Waiting for a 22 Diamondback to show up.

As pretty as some of them are, if you have'em, shoot'em. I have an early production model, 1957, Colt Python that likes both heavy and light loads.

And years ago, just to keep the it company, I picked up a Diamondback in .22LR.

When yours arrives, don't be shy about giving it a workout as well.

FORGET the concept of a Python clone!! Some things are sacred.

Norinco making a Python?!?!? Go and wash your mouth out with Hoppes™, sir! Norinco do make some decent clones, it's true, but some things are, well, sacrosanct.
First a Python, then there'd be a.... gasp... Anaconda....

And x2,314 on offers to relieve you of your under-used Pythons.

ps- Johnn, please STOP TORTURING US with your *%^%$%#& pictures. Sheesh!
